Fabiano do Nascimento, a guitarist and composer who is well known beyond the boundaries of Brazil, releases his new album on UK's Far Out Recordings! Although some of the songs feature guests such as Julien Canthelm (Drums), Ajurina Zwarg (Per), and Gabe Noel (Bass), as the title "Solo Mundo (Solo World)" suggests, Fabiano de Nascimento basically plays a variety of instruments while creating his own music. The album was produced in 2020 at his home in Los Angeles, using a variety of guitars, including 6-string, 7-string, 10-string, octave guitar (the small classical guitar in the center of the jacket), and electric baritone guitar, as well as numerous pedals and synthesizers for rich and expansive improvisation. He has achieved a rich and expansive improvisation style. The ambient/new age tendency of his work is more pronounced in this work, as if he is pursuing an imaginary landscape.He has avoided a bias toward a particular musical language by rejecting nationalistic tendencies, and has achieved true freedom by mastering every possible instrument while continuing the concept of "universal music" advocated by Hermeto Pascual, which is to express all of one's musical roots. Fabiano de Nascimento has achieved true freedom by mastering every possible instrument. The result is a beautiful snapshot of blossoming in solitude.
