It brings together pieces that highlight his light and lyrical side—a stark contrast to Reger’s reputation for being obscure and difficult. ◆Reger, famous as a composer, organist, and conductor, was also a pianist who was active in both concert performances and education. Despite his large build, he skillfully performed four-hand piano pieces and composed numerous original works for this medium.
