[Included Works] ◆ Consists of 18 tracks in total. The selection ranges widely from early salon-style works to pieces brimming with nationalism that incorporate indigenous Mexican melodies. [Performer] ◆ The performer is Rodolfo Ritter, a German-Mexican professor at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico and a renowned authority on Mexican music. Ritter, who is also a Yamaha Artist, is actively dedicated to unearthing and introducing little-known Romantic-era works from Mexico. As he is also a scholar, he plays a leading role in the editorial revision and interpretation of unpublished works while working on these recordings. [Recording] ◆Recorded on September 4, 2021, in the Grand Hall of the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. This historic hall has hosted performances by Maria Callas and Clemens Krauss.
