The Legion Silverbacks deliver fresh, dislocated indie rock / post-punk from Dublin, Ireland since their 2020 debut "FAD", and their third new album "EASY BEING A WINNER" is a painful experience that swallows elements of alternative legends! Brain Daniel moved to Paris, France, and Kilian and his wife Emma moved a little further away from Dublin, and each went to a new place to start working on this album. With Dan Fox of the Gila Band as the producer, the film was made on a schedule that allowed for plenty of time to spare. The completed sound, which reminds us of their hometown Dublin from a different place, is a mixture of noble post-punk in the vein of Franz Ferdinand, Joy Division's throbbing urgency, and colorful psychedelic sounds influenced by Stereolab. This is what Dublin is all about. The Silverbacks, who have expanded their expression without stepping outside the boundaries of rock, will carry the future of the UK indie scene on their shoulders!
