The Jesus and Mary Chain will release their new album, "Glasgow Eyes," on Fuzz Club.Glasgow Eyes was recorded at Mogwai's Castle of Doom studio in Glasgow, where Jim and William continued the creative process of their previous album, Damage and Joy. The result is a record that incorporates a productive second chapter by one of the most influential groups in the UK.Their swirl of melody, feedback, and controlled chaos is made clearer by their love of Suicide and Kraftwerk and the free style found in jazz. "But don't expect 'Mary Chain to be jazzed up,'" says Krause, "because that's not the case. People should expect The Jesus and Mary Chain record, and 'Glasgow Eyes' is certainly that.Our creative approach is remarkably unchanged from 1984. We go into the studio with a bunch of songs and let things happen. There are no rules, we do whatever we need to do. And there is telepathy. We're like weird twins who complete each other's sentences," says Jim Reid.
