As CLARK explains, the commission for the TV series sparked a new musical approach; the album unfolds with almost no beats, boldly featuring live instruments such as the harp, piano, strings, clarinet, and other acoustic instruments, resulting in exquisite ambient/electronica that brings together musically fresh and innovative ideas.
