Pianist Ivana Gavrić, a native of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has released her third album, a collection of piano works by the Norwegian composer Grieg. After moving to the United Kingdom, Gavrić rapidly rose to prominence as a pianist; she is highly regarded, particularly in the UK, having been named “Newcomer of the Year” at the 2011 BBC Music Magazine Awards.
