This is a collection of organ works by William Humphreys Diaz (1863-1903), an American who was a piano teacher at the Royal College of Music in Manchester in the early 20th century. This collection includes all of his organ works, of which only a few remain, and also includes a recording of Diaz's arrangement for organ of another forgotten composer, Arthur Bird's "Theme and Variations" for piano, in an attempt to revive Diaz's work. Recorded in 2013/2015, performed by the outstanding Finnish organist Jan Lehetra. (C)RS
