Description:
John Lawton, former singer of Lucifer's Friend and Euriah Heep, passed away in June 2021. This 2-CD anthology compiles the career of the singer with a beautiful voice from the early 70's to 2015, who sang everything from powerful hard rock tunes to ballads, pop, blues, and jazz, using his extended high tone voice to captivate the world. From the earliest songs from her Lucifer's Friend days, to "Little Chalk Blue" with John on Rebel (Rebel), ZAR (ZAR), and Roger Glover's project, OTR with former Focus member Jan Doumay, to the Intelligent Music project, and the 2015 release of her first solo album, "The Singer's Voice, Intelligent Music Project, and of course, the famous songs from Eurhype and his solo days. It also includes a number of recently discovered rare recordings, such as an unreleased live performance as a guest at a Euriah Heep show with the current lineup.
