Soejimatoshiki, who is gaining international attention as a neo-soul guitarist, has enlisted his wife, multi-instrumentalist Nahokimama, as his "beatmaker" on his latest album, featuring 10 tracks, of which M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4, M-7, M-9, and M-10 are all track made by her. She also guest-starred on M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4, M-7, M-9, and M-10, as well as international musicians she met on her live tour and through social media. M-1 "Unlearn" opens a new world of heavy beats, synth pads, ethereal trumpets, and sharply inserted electric guitars. French pianist Bastien Brison adds jazz harmonies to the rugged guitar riffs on M-2 "Ash. M-3 "Seven" features a brilliant solo by Yoshitaka Utano, keyboardist of the Soejimatoshiki Band. M-4 "Kyoto," an authentic guitar instrumental that makes me nostalgic every time I hear it. M-5 "The Eternal Flowers" is the lead track co-written with French bassist and producer Monsieur Teddy.M-6 "After The Words," a royal neo-soul tune with Korean producer Chill The World. M-7 "New Ways" with guitarist Gensuke Kanki, whom the couple respects. M-8 "Midnight" was born from a home session in Shizuoka with German producer FloFilz. M-9 "Clockwork" is an experimental piece with an impressive piano riff that ticks away the time in an unhurried manner. The warm sound of M-10 "Hidamari" gently concludes the story. The album has a new sound as a guitar album, a trumpet album, or as background music that accompanies you in your daily life. The album is a worldwide album with beats and melodies spun by a married couple and the addition of their friends from all over the world. Kimama Beats" is an album that marks a new trajectory for Soejimatoshiki and Nahokimama, following "TRUE" and "SCENE".
