Building on the dark dream pop presented in their debut, the sound has expanded into a more electronic, club-oriented direction. While using repetitive structures to evoke the catharsis of dance music, the album delves into themes of loneliness, dissociation, and identity. Drawing inspiration from Annie Ernaux’s concept of the “collective autobiography” in *The Years*, the album depicts the fluidity of time and the self. It captures the fragility of human existence, where the dull ache of nostalgia intersects with hope for the future. Since their previous release, *Day By Day* (UK vinyl/Indie Chart Top 20), the band has steadily expanded their following. Following European tours and acclaim from major media outlets, the band has achieved further evolution.
