All Saints is proud to announce the first vinyl reissue of 1988's "The White Arcades" by Harold Budd, a composer from the West Coast of the United States whom Robin Guthrie of the Cocteau Twins called "The Poet of the Piano"! Produced by Robin Guthrie and Brian Eno and recorded in part at Cocteau Twins Studios, the album is an ethereal blend of glowing synths, serene piano, and misty textures and spaces, resulting in nine meditative and beautiful tracks. The aura is ethereal and out of this world, but Bud's music is truly a model of what music can do for humanity. Whenever I'm feeling the frustration of the mundane rush of everyday life and the nonsense of political culture, this music helps me regain my serenity and grace.
