This album captures the modular synth setups he used in his live performances at the time, delivering pure electronic IDM electro that carries on the legacy of UK techno pioneers such as Aphex Twin, Autechre, and M-Ziq. While he has previously released numerous hardcore dance music tracks centered around “breakcore,” this album features IDM electro recorded entirely in one take, making full use of modular synths. Primitive modular sounds intertwine with acid-tinged synths to form high-speed beats that construct a cosmic soundscape. A masterpiece that follows the classic path of IDM rooted in UK techno.
