DON BARNES, guitarist/vocalist of 38 SPECIAL, a late Southern Rock band with twin drums and twin lead guitars formed around DONNIE VAN ZANT, left the album on Home A&M RECORDS in 1989 as a side project but never released it. This is a reissue of his lost solo album, which was left on his home A&M RECORDS as a side project in 1989, but remained unreleased. Top session guitar master DANN HUFF, who is well known for his work with KEVIN WELLS and STEPHEN BISHOP, is joined by fusion jazz pianist ALAN PASQUA, who also played in the melodic hard rock band GIANT with DANN HUFF, JEFF & MIKE PORCARO of TOTO, keyboardist JESSE HARMS, who was a one-time member of REO SPEEDWAGON, drummer JESSE HARMS, who is well known for his work with MONTROSE/HEART, and drummer JESSE HARMS. JEFF & MIKE PORCARO of TOTO, keyboardist JESSE HARMS who was also a member of REO SPEEDWAGON at one time, and drummer DENNY CARMASSI of MONTROSE/HEART, all participate in this album, which is more melodic and AOR than Southern Rock. The album features the 80s rockin' original, which is in the vein of DEF LEPPARD and FOREIGNER, and a cover of CHICAGO's "FEELIN' STRONGER EVERY DAY". DISC 1 contains the original "ROCK MIX" and DISC 2 contains a bonus disc with an alternate mix of the entire album plus 3 bonus tracks including a demo.
