Coldcut, the legendary head of Ninja Tune, releases their latest mix CD/compilation LP! Featuring previously unreleased tracks from an all-star lineup of artists including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sigur Rós, Lalaaji, and more! Coldcut, the pioneers of sampling culture and legends behind Ninja Tune, have released their latest mix CD and compilation LP, “@0.” Coldcut curated and sequenced the compilation LP, while the mix CD was mixed by Coldcut and Mixmaster Morris. This release brings together tracks from pioneering ambient music artists and those active in today’s scene. All tracks featured on “@0” are being released for the first time, with contributions from Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sigur Rós, Lalaaji, Rovo & System7, Juliana Barwick, Suzanne Ciani, Helena Huff, Ski Mask, James Heather, and others... It brings together an all-star lineup of artists. It includes “The Drift Home” by Steve Roach, a leading American ambient composer; the ambient soundscape “Beethoven250” by A Winged Victory for the Saloon, highly acclaimed in the post-classical scene; a new live recording of “Aqua,” originally released by Ryuichi Sakamoto in 1999 as part of *Playing the Piano for the Isolated*, and a new version of “And She Came Home” by James Heather, re-recorded on a Bösendorfer grand piano with added strings. The CD released for the domestic market includes a booklet with liner notes.
