Jethro Tull's 14th studio album, "THE BROADSWORD AND THE BEAST," released in 1982, was released in a 40th anniversary edition this September. Since their debut, Jethro Tull has consistently combined elements of folk and British trad with progressive rock to create a unique musical worldview that has made a strong presence in the history of British music, but in 1980 they began to boldly incorporate electronic synthesizer sounds, The 1980 album "A" is said to have caused controversy among fans because of its new direction. The follow-up to "A" was "THE BROADSWORD AND THE BEAST".Combining the synthesizer sound from the previous album with Jethro Tull's unique folk, rock, and progressive rock sound, this album, along with Ian Anderson's unmistakable and unique flute melodies and strong narrative storytelling, has been highly acclaimed and has long been a fan favorite. The album has been a fan favorite for a long time. The album has also made the Top 20 in the U.S. and Top 40 in the U.K. The new album is a new remix of the original album by Steven Wilson, which was also included on the 40th anniversary analog edition released in September. Although Jethro Tull's appearance on THE BROADSWORD AND THE BEAST, in which he developed his own musical worldview, incorporating the sound technology of the era while also incorporating British trad and folk traditions, is also a part of their current attitude, This new remix will surely bring a new sound image and discovery to the listener.
