Marillion is a British smoldering progressive rock band. Their debut album "Solo Theatrical Clowns" released in 1983, which is considered one of the masterpieces of neo-progressive/pump rock, is now back in beautiful picture disc analog with a 2020 stereo remix soundtrack and artwork by Mark Wilkinson! More than 40 years after their formation, the British progressive rock band Marillion continues to attract many progressive rock fans in the UK and Europe. Their debut album "Script For A Jester's Tear" was released in March 1983, and is considered one of the best neo-progressive/pump rock albums that emerged from the progressive rock trend that has continued since the 1960s. This album is now available on picture disc analog.Script For A Jester's Tear/Solo Clown" not only reached #7 on the UK album chart, but was also certified platinum and sent out two more UK Top 40 singles, "He Knows You Know" and "Garden Party". Produced by Nick Tauber, who has worked with Thin Lizzy, Toyah, and others, the album features a lineup that includes Fish (vocals), Steve Rothery (guitar), Pete Trewavas (bass), Mark Kelly (keyboards), and original drummer Mick Pointer. This is also the only album to feature the original drummer Mick Poynter. The picture disc analog release features a 2020 stereo remix of the album. It features striking illustrations by Mark Wilkinson, who created Marillion's artwork during the Phish era. The lyrical and melodic sound of this debut album is created by the theatrical vocals and performance of vocalist Fish.Here is the starting point of Marillion, which continues to attract fans with its live performances and albums.
