Cast, a band led by John Power, formerly of The Lars, emerged at the height of the Britpop movement in the mid-90s and released their 7TH studio album "Love is the Call" on CD/LP, their first in 7 years since 2017! The band has been a major presence on the scene at the time, with a sound infused with a heavy influence from the 60's British Invasion and a mystical, quasi-hippie lyrical sensibility developed by lead singer John Power. This album was produced by almost the same members as the first masterpiece "ALL CHANGE" released in 1995. As the psychedelic-pop title track released earlier this year shows, the band's sparkling sense of melody and pop hooks are still present. Power himself has hinted that it is "like the missing link between Lars and the cast's first album. Produced by Youth, bassist of Killing Joke.
