LICE, the next band to emerge from Bristol, the birthplace of IDLES, has launched its own label, SETTLED LAW, and released its debut album! LICE, a group from Bristol, UK, has released their long-awaited debut album on their own label, SETTLED LAW RECORD. LICE, who quickly gained recognition in the UK rock scene by performing with prominent bands such as THE FALL, SQUID, FAT WHITE FAMILY, and GIRL BAND, completed their debut album after about two years of production. The band's sound, which blends minimalism, progressive rock, industrial, and post-punk with a spirit of experimentation and initial impulse, was described by the British media as "the most exciting, stimulating, and genuinely mad new generation guitar band". The closing track "CLEAR" features guest vocals from GOAT GIRL members and KAY J. PEARSON, and was mastered by MIKEY YOUNG of TOTAL CONTROL.The long-awaited debut album is directly descended from IDLES, the band's hometown brother, as well as SHAME and BLACK MIDI, the UK's leading guitar bands of the late 2010s, and shows its next step into a new era!
