The first official CD reissue of the 1969 2ND with added bonuses! BLOSSOM TOES, the right wing of the SGT. PEPPERS children who left behind the beloved 1967 1ST "WE ARE EVER SO CLEAN", the gold standard of UK psychedelic hop, cannot be overlooked when talking about British psychedelic music. BLOSSOM TOES is the second and final album that transformed from a psychedelic sound to a progressive/heavy rock sound. The sound has changed from the previous album to heavier, with a more acidic and progressive feel, but the detailed arrangements and pop tricks are as good as on the first album. The album also features a guest appearance by US folkie SHAWN PHILIPS on sitar, and was produced by GIORGIO GOMELSKY, who continued his work on Firth. Seven bonus tracks are added to the album's unreleased single AB-side, including demos, outtakes, and live recordings for the unreleased single. Rare photos, introduction by the band's leader BRIAN GODDING, and a 12-page full color booklet with detailed liner notes.
