The new album by the much-talked-about musician Borisoglevsky, who won the second prize at the 2007 Tchaikovsky International Competition, is now available from APARTE. The title of the album is "Carnet de voyages" (Ticket to Travel), a collection of music written by composers who were influenced by various folk songs and local music. Through these works, one can feel that the composers and performers share not only the music itself, but also a sense of travel. Violinist Nikita Borisoglevsky and pianist Georgy Chayse, who also visited Japan for the 2024 La Folle Journée Music Festival, will perform in an outstanding duo. ＜Nikita Borisoglevsky (violin) won the second prize at the 2007 Tchaikovsky International Violin Competition and five special awards, and in 2010 won the first prize at the Sibelius International Violin Competition and the Kreisler International Violin Competition.He has performed with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Lahti Symphony Orchestra, Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, Kuopio Symphony Orchestra and other major orchestras in Finland. He has been Artist-in-Residence at the Wiener Konzerthaus since the 2022/23 season, performing with Nikolai Lugansky, Narek Ahnazaryan, Maxim Lizanov, and others, and appearing as a trio with Narek Ahnazaryan & Georgi Chayse in chamber music subscription concerts. In addition to Vienna, he has frequently performed in Graz and Linz. She has performed with conductors such as Sakari Oramo, Vasily Sinaysky, Dima Slobodenyuk, Stanislav Kochanovsky, and Klaus Makela, as well as with Alexander Knyazev and Mao Fujita. Born in Volgodonsk, Russia in 1985. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Duard Graci and Tatyana Berkri.She has studied with Augustin Dumay at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music and with Anna Chumachenko at the Kronberg Academy. ＜Born in St. Petersburg in 1988, she began playing piano and violin at the age of 7. She studied with Drensky at the Moscow Conservatory and with Helwig at the Berlin University of the Arts for her master's degree; in 2009, she won first prize at the Hornens International Competition in Canada; in 2015, she won first prize at the Top of the World International Competition in Norway.
