Description:
Gaillard's new 2018 disc of R. Strauss works overwhelmed by a stunning ensemble! Offéry Gaillard is a popular French cellist. She continues to captivate her fans with her sensitively and intimately expressive playing. Her new release is the complete works for cello by R. Strauss. As a passive bassist in an old music ensemble, as well as a soloist and chamber musician, Gaillard's collection of works by R. Strauss, the wizard of orchestra and ensemble, is highly anticipated! Geyerl has not been able to fall in love with R. Strauss (his works) for many years. He says that this was partly because of history (his relationship with the Nazis). He says that while he felt the music of R. Strauss in his arms, there was always something that stuck with him, and it was not until he was over 20 years old that he began to work on his own works. With "The Knight of the Roses" and "Arabella," he came to appreciate the hypnotic power of Strauss' music and the allure of his enchanting, lyrical world. In "Don Quixote," the cello represents the proud itinerant knight Don Quixote, the violin represents Princess Dulcinella, and the viola represents Don Quixote's squire, Sancho Panza. The princess is played by Alexandra Konunova, who won the third prize in the violin section of the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition and is much talked about for her performance and beauty. Sancho Panza will be played by Dov Scheindlin on viola, a member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and a regular performer at the MET. The character of Don Quixote is portrayed as more ambitious than the hero in the hero's life, and the way his death at the end is portrayed exceeds that of Cervantes, according to Gaillard, who will perform this masterpiece, which is filled with R. Strauss's mastery of orchestral writing, his mastery of the solo instrumentation, and his mastery of storytelling. The cello sonata is a masterpiece of R. Strauss' mastery of orchestral writing, his mastery of solo instruments, and his mastery of storytelling. The cello sonata was written when R. Strauss was 19 years old, and the cello and piano work together in a richly colorful ensemble that resembles an orchestra. The romance is pastoral, but the melody that wells up is said to have been written all at once. The cello, piano, and vocal version of "Tomorrow" is, so to speak, the first version of this work. Later, it was arranged for orchestra, and the solo is played by a violin. Here, the delicacy of the melody played by the cello and the beauty of the rhyme scheme of the German poem are beautifully blended. King International
