Description:
Miraculous reissue of an extremely rare disc sold only locally by a saxophonist who has played with Satchmo, Frank Foster, and others! The only album left by Ronnie April, a saxophone/clarinet/flute player who has played with legends such as Frank Foster, Louis Armstrong aka Satchmo, Nat Adderley, Lionel Hampton, and Tito Puente, whose comments are left on the cover, This album is miraculously reissued by "JAZZ ROOM RECORDS", which has been reviving many rare recordings. April pressed the album himself and sold it only in his hometown, but it did not sell well and the rest of the copies were almost discarded. The few original copies sold for as little as 300 pounds (!!!) on the second-hand market in the past. The cover of "Snowflake" from the Crusaders' "Images" was arranged into a Brazilian number, which has since become a staple in the jazz dance scene and has even been pirated. This is a hidden masterpiece with danceable numbers with a positive mood as the group's name suggests.
