Description:
This is a collection of highly technical chamber music by four 18th century composers. All worked for Frederick the Great, King of Prussia; Johann Gottlieb Graun's signature trio sonata, played on two melody instruments and a bass continuo. His younger brother, Karl Heinrich, had a more lyrical style, and although less outwardly flamboyant, the music is said to have been highly accomplished and was a popular work even at the time.
