Evolving from Joy Division—a defining force in post-punk that left an indelible mark on the scene—they launched their career in 1981 with the album *MOVEMENT*. With each new release, they refined a style that pursued their own unique aesthetic, rising to become charismatic icons of the 1980s British music scene. They continue to tour today, constantly evolving their music and captivating rock fans around the world.
