Junglist!" weaves a tale of how jungle and reggae merged to create some of the heaviest songs in history. The powerful bass lines, fiery Amen breaks, and heavy raga vocals are in the very original jungle style that has been around since the dawn of drum 'n' bass. All of the songs on this album were recorded between 1993 and 1995, during the jungle's heyday. Rare tracks include Bizzy B & TDK's "Big Things" (currently £350 at Discogs!) ) and others, released exclusively on the white label. The album features super heavy jungle mixes from first generation jungle producers like M-Beat, Krome & Time, Lemon D, DJ Vern, and DJ Ash, as well as hardcore dancehall legends like Cutty Ranks, Beenie Man, Josey Wales, and Poison Chang.
