Wilhelm Kemp's 4th reissue! A collection of Polydor recordings with a focus on Bach! APR, which has been reissuing Beethoven's piano sonatas and concertos (APR6018, APR6019, APR7403), presents the fourth volume of Wilhelm Kemp's (1895-1991) performances, which were recorded for Polydor from 1927, before the start of World War II, to 1936, from the beginning of electric recordings. The fourth release of the series features Wilhelm Kemp (1895-1991), who recorded many works other than Beethoven's for Polydor between 1927 and 1936, before the start of the Second World War! This reissue represents the career and achievements of Kemp, who excelled at playing Austro-German repertoire, and includes not only the original works by the great Bach, Schubert and Schumann, but also four arrangements of the great Bach by Kemp himself, as well as Liszt's arrangement of Schubert's "Kikki, Kikki, Hibari", which was arranged by Liszt and performed by Kemp himself. The album includes not only Kemp's original works by Bach and Schubert, but also four of Kemp's own arrangements of great Bach works, as well as his own virtuoso arrangement of Liszt's arrangement of Schubert's "Ki, Ki, Hibari".
