This album contains many small pieces for song and chamber ensemble. The music is simple and plaintive, reminiscent of the chants and folk songs of her native Armenia, and the content is soothing. She also recites her own poems, and the clarity of her voice and the transparency of her music are at the bottom of the world of Celtic music and Enya. Tobu Shoji Co.
