Description:
Aimi Kobayashi's long-awaited latest recording in about 3 years! Accurate Schubert with a sense of connection to the composer! Pianist Aimi Kobayashi released her new album "Schubert: 4 Improvisations Op. 142, Piano Sonata No. 19 in C minor, Rondo in A major, etc.". This is her first album in about three years, and is a collection of Schubert's works, which Aimi Kobayashi has been eager to work on for many years. The main pieces are "Four Improvisations Op. 142" and "Piano Sonata No. 19 in C minor. The "Four Improvisations, Op. 142" is a piece that Aimi Kobayashi has always wanted to play and has performed it in her recent concerts. Piano Sonata No. 19" is the first Schubert piece she performed while studying in the U.S., and is also a piece she has fond memories of, saying that if she were to make a Schubert album, she wanted to include it. Also included is "Rondo in A major," a joint performance with her husband, pianist Kyohei Tanda. This is the first official recording of the couple performing together. The recording was made in May of this year at Teldex Studios in Berlin, which has a long tradition and history of producing many famous recordings. The booklet features a newly taken photograph on the front cover. It has been three years since her last album, "Chopin: Preludes, etc.," and during that time, Aimi Kobayashi has experienced major events, such as winning the fourth prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition, getting married, and having a baby. On September 23 this year, Aimi Kobayashi celebrated her birthday and turned 29 years old. The works on this album are all composed by Schubert in his later years, when he was between 30 and 31 years old. This is a piece of music that Aimi Kobayashi has created with music that can only be played now that she is the same age as Schubert, who composed these pieces after many events. The imported CD is a long-recording CD. Due to the long recording time (over 85 minutes of data), some devices may not be able to play the CD. Playback is not supported by players that use PC drives, such as PCs, and some slot-in players. Please understand this beforehand. Please contact the manufacturer of your equipment for information on the compatibility of long-recording CDs. Warner Music Japan
