Jerry and the Pacemakers, a Liverpool band with manager Brian Epstein and producer George Martin, share many similarities with The Beatles. The first band whose first three singles topped the UK Singles Chart, they were active with the Cavern Club at the same time as the Beatles, and when the Beatles came to America and became successful, they too came to America and became a popular "British Invasion" band that took the world by storm. This is their first album. This is an anthology of their early years 1963-1966.In addition to the hit singles, the album also includes nine songs from the 1963 first album "How Do You Like It" and the soundtrack to the 1964 film "Ferry Cross The Mersey", as well as the Lennon & McCartney song "Hello Little Girl", originally intended to be a 3rd single. The collection also includes "Hello Little Girl," a song by Lennon & McCartney that was originally intended to be a 3rd single, as well as songs from albums released in the US and Canada that were never released in the UK, and even a live recording made on October 24, 1964 at the Oakland Auditorium in Oakland, California.
