Since making a name for himself as one of Jamaica's leading sound system operators in the 1950s, DUKE REID has expanded his influence on the island's music scene by releasing works by local talent on his TREASURE ISLE label. This 2CD release contains 47 tracks of Ska & Jamaican R&B produced by DUKE REID from 1963-1965 from his vast catalog, and is a valuable archival piece that also includes many first-time CD releases.
