This 3-CD anthology compiles the career of Frank Sidebottom, a yuletide character and music performer who gained cult status in the 80s in Manchester, England, and was well-known in Japan as a person in the know. Comedian Chris Seavey was known for his close association with the core of the Madchester movement in the 1980s, often appearing on television with Tony Wilson of Factory. This is his best collection plus an anthology of rare material, including 20 previously unreleased tracks from Frank's performances in Manchester between 1985 and 1988, provided by Seavey's son Sterling, plus 16 tracks from an EP Frank left for Regal Zonophone between 1985 and 1986, which is being made available on CD for the first time. This is an anthology of his best + rarest material, including 16 tracks from Frank's EPs for Regal Zonophone between 1985 and 1986. Includes an introduction by former bandmate Mark Radcliffe and an exclusive interview with his son Sterling.
