Cult post-punk/new wave freaks should listen to the post-punk disco "BLACK LEATHER" by DOA's predecessor band NIGHTMARES IN WAX, the proto-gothic rock "IT'S BEEN HOURS NOW", and the band's debut album "LET THEM DRAG MY SOUL AWAY". The 3-CD set contains 38 tracks, including the proto-gothic rock "IT'S BEEN HOURS NOW" and an early version of the HI-NRG track that would appear on the band's debut album. This is a rare box set that covers the formative years of a key figure in the UK post-punk scene, including Liverpool, and in the pop and gay club scenes of the 80's.The cover artwork, photographed by DEAD OR ALIVE's manager at the time, FRANCESCO MELLINA, captures Pete's final moments before his rise to stardom.
