Description:
Genesis is one of the leading progressive rock bands, and since their debut in 1969, their technical and symphonic sound has attracted progressive rock fans all over the world. When Steve Hackett left Genesis, the three remaining members decided to continue their activities, and in March 1978, they released "And Then There were Three..." and embarked on their first world tour, the "And Then There were Three Tour", which took place on June 24, 1978. This is a live album recorded at the "Nebworth Park Festival" held on June 24, 1978 in the suburbs of London, England. This is the first time that the original recordings, originally recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio in the UK, have been remastered and released on CD, and the live performance features Darryl Stuhmer (g&b) and Chester Thompson (ds), who would later work with the band as supporting members on the tour. This is the first time for the band to perform live with Darryl Stuhmer (g&b) and Chester Thompson (ds), who will be working with the band as supporting members after this tour. Two additional bonus tracks are included from a concert in Texas recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," featuring popular numbers from Peter Gabriel's time with the band.
