Genesis, a band that recorded mega sales in the progressive rock scene. After their 2007 "Turn It On Again Tour," they remained inactive due to Phil Collins's illness. However, starting with their Dublin performance on September 15, 2021, they will conduct their "The Last Domino?" Tour, limited to Ireland and the UK, but it has been announced that they will cease activities after this tour. Now, a CD of rare live archives from 1976, recorded and broadcast for television and radio, is being released! Following the departure of frontman Peter Gabriel, drummer Phil Collins took on vocal duties in the new lineup. Released in 1976, A Trick of the Tail surpassed the sales of its predecessor, ushering in a new golden age for the band.At the start of the tour, former Yes and King Crimson drummer Bill Bruford joined as the second drummer while Phil Collins handled vocals, kicking off the Trick Of The Tail Tour with a performance in Toronto, Canada on March 26th of that year. The concert in Cleveland, Ohio on April 15 was recorded for the popular American music radio program King Biscuit Flower Hour, but it was shelved when the London concert was broadcast instead. This recording has now been discovered and released on CD. This live album captures the entire concert, including medleys and encores. It features an outstanding selection of songs, centered around tracks from the new album Trick of the Tail, including a medley from The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, and "White Mountain" from their second album Trespass.Furthermore, with Bill Bruford joining the band, the instrumental performances and arrangements became more technical and powerful, greatly enhancing Genesis's status as a progressive rock band. For these reasons, this release is undoubtedly one that fans have been eagerly awaiting!
