Metallica made their debut in 1983 with "Kill 'Em All" and pioneered a new style of heavy metal rock called thrash metal. With each album release, the band's musicality has broadened and now transcends the category of heavy metal, establishing a position as a top band that is respected by many other bands. Now, Metallica's live archive, one of the most important live archives of their career, is finally released on CD! The band's 141-show world tour "Damage, Inc. Tour" started with a concert in Kansas on March 27, 1986, and ended in Sweden in February 1987, as a promotion for "Master Of Puppets", the band's first album. The tour was a great success. The concert in Sweden on February 13, 1987, the last leg of the tour, was recorded and broadcast for a European radio program. This live album is based on the sound recordings used for the broadcast, and includes most of the concert including cover numbers, encores, and guitar and bass solos. The concert was held amidst the worldwide success of the album, and the live performance in front of an excited audience was a highlight of the show!
