The band released the successful "Green Mind" in 1991, at a time when the alternative American rock scene was exploding. An expanded version of "Green Mind," which was produced with a simplified lineup (in fact, J. Maskis himself performed almost all the songs), the album features the singles "The Wagon" and "Cool With Me," songs and EPs not included on the album, as well as a previously unreleased live performance at the Palladium in Hollywood in June 1991. Previously unreleased material from the live show is included on the album. Green Mind was critically acclaimed upon its release and remains one of the band's strongest collections and a firm fan favorite.With related singles, B-sides, fully recorded live material, and detailed liner notes based on a recent exclusive interview with J, this 2CD edition comprehensively captures the American guitar band at the height of their prominence.
