Alex DeZate's (Hepcat) soulful tenor melds smoothly with the familiar-voiced backing harmonies of Deston Berry (Hepcat) and Malik Moore (Ocean 11). A darker, grittier interpretation of Allen Toussaint's masterpiece, with fuzzed-out guitars, space echoes, and rhythm drops, the Lions' front line rocks tight with their longtime collaborators.
