Camel, a progressive rock band from England that took the world by storm with its lyrical sound and made a name for itself around the world. Originally released in January 1981, this concept album is based on the true story of a Japanese soldier who was marooned on a small island in the Pacific during World War II and was unaware that the war was over. When he eventually returned to his homeland, he was welcomed by the masses, but longed for a moment of introspection. Later hailed as one of the best progressive rock albums of the 1980s, "Nude - The Return of MR. O" is one of Camel's most beloved works and features such classic songs as "Life in the City," "Falsehood," "When Drafted," and "Captured (Protection). The album reached the Top 40 in the UK upon its release, and was in the Top 20 in several European countries. This 3-CD + multi-region Blu-ray version features the original album mix remastered by Ben Wiseman, plus a 5.1 surround sound and stereo mix by Steven W. Taylor. Includes illustrated booklet & essay.
