After Blind Faith broke up, Eric Clapton stayed in the U.S. and became friends with Delaney & Bonnie, the opening act for Blind Faith's North American tour, and began working with them as their support guitarist. Delaney Bramlett and Eric Clapton collaborated on the hit single "Kamin Home," which strengthened the bond between the two groups. In 1970, Delaney Bramlett and Eric Clapton toured North America with great success. The tour featured backing members such as George Harrison, Traffic's Dave Mason, Leon Russell, and Rita Coolidge, in addition to Eric Clapton, and the concert in Croydon, England, was released on the live album The live album "On Tour With Eric Clapton" was released and became a hit, charting at No. 29 on the U.S. album chart.The highlight of the concert, held on February 22, the final day of the four-day concert series at San Francisco's prestigious Fillmore West Hall, was recorded and broadcast as a special program for local TV/radio stations. This album is a live album using the recordings for this broadcast, and the set list of the day includes the complete concert, including covers and medleys.
