Born on January 31, 1951 to an English father and a Colombian mother, he spent his childhood in South America, including Cuba and Venezuela, where his musical experiences greatly influenced his current musical style and style, In 1970, he formed his own band, Quiet Sun, with Canterbury artists, but was unable to secure a record deal. After auditioning, he joined Roxy Music and produced many hit albums with Bryan Ferry and Andy McKay. At the same time, he also performed live with Project Band 801, produced albums as Quiet Sun, and worked energetically as a solo artist. After the breakup of Roxy Music, he has been active not only as a guitarist but also as a composer and producer, and produced Pink Floyd's new album.
