The Smiths were formed by Stephen Patrick Morrissey, a great singer who admired Oscar Wilde and Alain Delon, and Johnny Marr, a guitar prodigy who created many masterpieces with his sensitive and melodic playing. The Smiths' many masterpieces spun by the duo during their short period of activity from 1982 to 1987 pushed them to a different level from mere indie bands, and at the same time, they have continued to shine an indelible light all over the world. The Smiths' 1984 debut album, "The Smiths," was a hit on the indie scene with Morrissey's provocative attitude and cynical lyrics, but also caused controversy in the U.K. The album was followed by a live archive release in February of the following year. Meat Is Murder" was released in February of the following year, and despite being just as sensational and shocking as its predecessor, it was the only UK No. 1 album to reach No. 1. To promote the album, the band toured Europe and the United States from February to October of the same year, and a live performance in Oxford on March 18 was recorded and broadcast for a BBC radio program.This is a live album using sound recordings from that broadcast. In this performance, the band played songs such as "The Headmaster Ritual," a song of resistance to the management system, and "How Soon Is Now?" a song of loneliness and despair. a song of loneliness and despair. The rhythm section's performance was tight and fast, showing their high level of technical skill. As is customary, the singing is interrupted by fans rushing onto the stage during the songs, providing a very realistic and realistic experience. As a bonus track, five songs from the TV broadcast of the live performance in Barcelona in May of the same year, which were remastered to the highest standards, are included. Since no live album from this period has been officially released, this is one of the most coveted albums for fans.
