Blur, a London art school band, debuted in 1991 with the album "Leisure" on Hood Records. Their follow-up, Modern Life Is Rubbish, was a cynical, conceptual work with a British sense of humor inherited from the Kinks and XTC. The band went on hiatus in 2003, with vocalist Damon Albarn continuing to perform internationally as Gorillaz's 2D, but in 2008, the band relaunched. In 2023, the band will appear at Summer Sonic with their first new album in eight years, "The Ballad Of Darren".The band's album containing their live performance at Wembley Stadium in 2023 was released in July of the same year, and a documentary on their revival, "blur: To The End," is scheduled to be released in Japan. To promote the release of "Modern Life is Ravish" in 1993, Blur toured Europe, the U.S., and Japan from May to December of the same year. As part of the tour, a live performance in Italy on November 4, 1993 was recorded and broadcast for a radio program. This album is a live album using the sound recordings used for the broadcast, and includes the encores. Since it was only a few years after their debut, the band members, especially Damon, are fresh and full of energy. The audience was not very responsive at the introduction, but as the song progressed to the latter half of the show, the audience became more and more excited.A must-listen for fans who can relive the excitement of the night before the band's breakthrough!
