Tim Bowness is a member of No-Man, a unit with Steven Wilson, who plays with Porcupine Tree and others, and is highly regarded not only in the UK progressive rock scene but also as a singer and songwriter. He is known for his collaborations with many of the leading progressive rock artists, including Robert Fripp, Peter Hamill, and Phil Manzanera. Two years after his last album, "Butterfly Mind," his eighth studio album, "Powder Dry," was released on the newly signed Kscope label. Produced, performed, and written by Tim Bowness, and mixed by Steven Wilson in stereo and 5.1ch surround sound, the album comes with DVD audio.A collection of sharp contrasts in 16 tracks and 40 minutes, "Powder Dry - Powder Dry" is a bold and experimental experiment that includes diverse genres, weaving their own soundscapes of electro-pop, ambient, and industrial rock. . Bowness said of the pre-released single 'Rock Hudson - Rock Hudson', "Like the other songs on the album, this song was born out of an attempt to capture fleeting emotions as accurately as possible. This time the mood is darker, with a mix of the sharp post-punk and electro-pop music of the early 1980s that captivated me as a teenager. Joy Division, The Cure, The The, etc..." He said.
