Formed by former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, Chickenfoot is the first super band to hit the American hard rock scene in quite some time. The band, featuring guitarist Joe Satriani and drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has produced an excellent album that has lived up to the expectations of their fans. Chickenfoot" debuted at No. 4 on the U.S. album charts and earned a gold disc. The band began work on a new album as soon as the tour ended, releasing their second album in 2011, followed by their first live album in 2012. The band's performance in Düsseldorf, Germany on January 19 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for a TV/radio program during the "Europe Road Test Tour," a four-country European tour that followed the release of the aforementioned second album. This album is a live album recorded during the broadcast and includes the complete concert including two encores.Sammy Hagar's passionate vocals, Joe Satriani's brilliant guitar playing, and the rhythm section of the massive Michael Anthony and Kenny Aronoff, who joined this tour on a limited basis, make for a live show that will take you to the mainstream of American hard rock!
