Janis Joplin established herself as the one and only female rock vocalist in the American rock scene in the late 1960s, leading the scene, but died at the young age of 27 due to drug addiction. Although she was only active for less than three years and only three albums, she left an indelible mark on the rock scene... After two albums, "I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama!" and "Cheap Thrills," and appearances at several big music festivals and a hard schedule of touring, Janis Joplin's reputation grew, but she also fell into the depths of the drug epidemic. But she was also deep into the abyss of drugs... During her 1969 tour, Janis Joplin performed at the Fillmore East in New York City on February 12, 1969, and the concert was recorded and broadcast for a local radio program.This live album is a live album based on the sound sources used for the broadcast, and the set list on that day was a total of 10 songs, including cover songs, mainly from the new album "Cheap Thrills" at that time. This live album is a complete recording of the concert. Janis Joplin led her newly formed band, the Cosmic Blues Band, in a performance that gave goosebumps, and this rare archival CD is a must-have!
