Consisting of four members of the band that was the driving force behind the British rock movement of the 1970s - Free vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirk, Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs, and King Crimson bassist Boz Burrell - the supergroup, Bad Company. The group's debut on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label helped them achieve worldwide success from the start, and they quickly became a top band. After releasing "Rough Diamonds" in 1982 and touring with it, Paul Rodgers left the band, and the band continued with a new vocalist, but stopped in 1995. However, the band reunited with the original members in 1998, recorded four new songs, and released the best-of album "The 'Original' Bad Co. Anthology" in 1999, which included the new songs, and toured for 31 shows in the U.S. only.The Orlando, Florida concert on May 29 of the same year was broadcast throughout the United States via satellite television. This live album is based on the sound recordings used for the broadcast, and captures the entire concert, including the encores. The concert, which featured representative songs from the six albums released by the original members plus three new songs at the time, was so energetic that the audience did not feel the band's blanks, and the audience went wild. At the end of this tour, Mick Ralphs and Boz Burrell left the band. Therefore, the release of the last live album with the original members is a long-awaited appearance for the fans!
