Vandenberg, a hard rock band formed by Dutch guitarist Adrian Vandenberg, was signed to Atco Records and released their debut album "Vandenberg" in 1982. With the hit single 'Burning Heart,' the album reached No. 65 on the U.S. album chart. Their second album, "Heading For A Storm", released in 1983, was not a hit in the U.S., but was a hit in Japan, and the band made their first tour of Japan in 1983. The following year, in 1984, the band toured Japan for 45 shows in the U.S., Japan, and the Netherlands under the title of "Heading for A Storm Tour," and the concert in Osaka on June 16, the first day of the tour, was recorded and broadcast as a TV/radio special program. The concert was recorded and broadcast as a TV/radio special program, and was later broadcast on MTV as a promotional program in the U.S. This is a live album of the broadcasted program, including the encores, and allows you to experience the whole concert.Adrian Vandenberg's technical and melodic guitar playing can be heard throughout the album, and combined with Bert Heering's vocals, the band's unique hard rock sound is full of the melancholy of a European band.
