Vandenberg, a hard rock band formed by Dutch guitarist Adrian Vandenberg, was signed to Atco Records and released their debut album "Vandenberg" in 1982. With the hit single 'Burning Heart,' the album reached No. 65 on the U.S. album chart. Their second album, "Heading For A Storm", released in 1983, was not a hit in the U.S., but was a hit in Japan, and the band made their first tour of Japan in 1983. The following year, in 1984, the band toured Japan for 45 shows in the U.S., Japan, and the Netherlands under the title of "Heading for A Storm Tour," and the concert in Osaka on June 16, the first day of the tour, was recorded and broadcast as a TV/radio special program.
