After overcoming a serious drug addiction and making a comeback with the album "461 Ocean Boulevard" in 1974, Eric Clapton continued to produce albums and tour consistently. He toured the U.K. and the U.S. on a limited 28-show "No Reason To Cry Tour". The concert in Houston, Texas on November 13 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for the popular American music program "King Biscuit Flower Hour".
