After walking the high road of the British rock scene with the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, Rod Stewart became a more serious solo artist after the breakup of the Faces. He moved to the U.S. and released a series of albums, all of which became million-sellers. 1993's "Unplugged... And Seated" was a hit, reaching No. 2 on the U.S. album chart and No. 7 on the Japanese album chart. In conjunction with the release of "Plugged... And Seated," the band embarked on a two-year world tour. As part of this tour, the band made its fourth visit to Japan in April 1994. The April 24 concert at Yokohama Arena was recorded and broadcast as a TV/radio special. This live album is based on the sound recordings from this broadcast, and includes the encore and the complete concert. Backed by talented session musicians and featuring a selection of songs that trace his solo career, this is a wonderful live album that allows the audience to experience Rod Stewart at the peak of his career.Imported domestic specs
